J’ai pris cette photographie fin mars, au tout début du printemps, alors que je me trouvais pour quelques jours en Haute-Savoie, près de Chamonix. J’ai choisi une vue minimaliste en noir et blanc, en carré, pour ce poteau en bois qui émergeait de la haute couche de neige.

I took this photograph at the end of March, at the very beginning of spring, during a few days I spent in Haute-Savoie near Chamonix. I chose a minimalist black-and-white square composition for this wooden post emerging from the thick layer of snow.
