# Pente et gradient

Voici une image que j’ai prise durant l’été dernier, j’ai aimé le graphisme de la pente du volcan Stromboli, sur l’île du même nom, qui apparaît comme une découpe sur le dégradé des couleurs du soir. Du soir à la nuit, les lumières du village de Ginostra deviennent un scintillement au loin.

Here’s an image I took last summer. I liked the way the slope of the Stromboli volcano, on the island of the same name, appears as a cut-out against the gradation of evening colours. From evening to night, the lights of the village of Ginostra become shimmer in the distance.
