Ce portrait d’arbre est une prise de vue très récente que j’ai faite dans les environs de Nantes. J’aime la façon dont cet arbre se détache sur l’étang, tout au bord de la rive. J’ai utilisé une pose longue d’une minute pour cette photographie en noir et blanc, les nuages s’étirent, l’arbre reste fixe et les vaguelettes de l’eau sont atténuées.

### The tree and the pond. Loire-Atlantique, France, May 2026

This tree portrait is a very recent picture I took near Nantes. I love how the tree stands out against the pond, right at the water’s edge. I used a one-minute long exposure for this black-and-white photograph: the clouds stretch, the tree remains still, and the ripples in the water are softened.
